We will conduct appointments through Zoom, an app that’s completely free to download on all devices; all you need is WiFi and a mobile phone or computer.

How Do Telemedicine Appointments Work?

Icecreamwala Dermatology will administer telemedicine visits entirely through Zoom. We recommend planning an extra 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment to familiarize yourself with the app, as well as test audio/video capabilities. Once installed, please follow the dial-in instructions, which will be provided after you book your online appointment.

As with in-person visits, we’ll be happy to assist you with any questions or concerns. If you experience technical difficulties, don’t hesitate to contact our staff members for help. We’ll be happy to walk you through the necessary steps and guide you on how to set up your first online consultation.

What if I’m a New Patient?

For new patients, after you book your appointment, you’ll immediately receive a confirmation email from us. Please respond to this with your current home address, as well as attachments of your insurance card and ID.

IMPORTANT: Remember to send in both the front and back of your insurance card.

What if My Insurance Provider has Changed?

The same rules will apply as if you were a new patient. After you schedule your appointment online, respond to our confirmation email with attachments of your new insurance card. If your home address has changed, please send this information as well.
